How long before Intel tells us a boon will allow them to open up new jobs,
in Hyderabad?

And if offshoring is so much cheaper, why are big corporations trickling on America in the process? They make the prices. They set the wages. Prices for the same goods in other countries are not as astronomically high as they are in America.

I have no qualms working for $2/day. Neither do the Indians. But $2 can be stretched a hell of a lot further in India than here in America. Indeed, $2 won't even get you a gallon of gas!

If globalization is where people want to go today, please stop the games and level the playing field, equally and fairly. THAT will make America competitive again. What's going now is only hurting Americans and is anything but compassionate. (of course, that means the profit margins will be smaller, but it's only a temporary loss until more Americans get back to work.)

I think a future for America, and for the world, is possible. But who will want to change if they have to? And if people are told what's to happen, will they go along with it, not thinking about the greater good?
