Google shares ad wealth with videographers

Jackass, BlairWitch...

There's a lot of potential there IMHO, it's possible now to make very popular content for very small budgets.

Assuming Google can deliver the ads to fund it (and even video ads like BrightCove have in mind would be nice), and the masses deliver the ideas.

The long tail worked in books, in music, in internet sites, so why not video?
