Don't be so hasty....
For better or worse, it's the money of those "Wall Street types" that funds a lot of the R&D in your precious tech companies; everybody knows the market reacts in weird, herd-like ways. I've always been convinced that it's not even a market - you're not buying into a product or service, you're buying into peoples' impressions and emotions, and market principles don't work.

In the long term, things seem to sort themselves out (more or less) in line with reality, although this sorting out may happen in a rather sudden or violent fashion. Just take the short term blips in stride (and by short term I mean one to two years) and anybody can do all right in the stock market, provided you didn't bet on a *seriously* bad horse.
