Good place to invest

We're at the bleeding edge of this market but the potential is huge.

Now don't you wish you'd listened to me three years ago when I suggested you start moving critical applications to web-based alternatives and adopting open file formats? If you'd spent that time wisely you'd be platform agnostic in another two years. Maybe the stray Windows kiosk around the office for Windows only applications, but your standard desktop would not need to be Windows based and certainly none of your remote users.
