Why isn't it? Can't I put up my video reviews of movies, in which I quote a few lines of dialogue from the movie? That's fair use, and that's something I could do on YouTube.

But getting back to the original point, No Ax seemed to be saying that unless you were the original creator of material, you had no legal right to use it in any way whatsoever. And that's just not true.
