Quoting:
"Both PC analyst firms attributed Apple's success to the completed transition to Intel processors."
Perhaps people were waiting only for the switch to good, reliable Intel processors before testing Apple.
Or perhaps some Apple buyers did in fact wait for Apple hardware and software to make the transition.
No, better to say that Apple needed Intel to appeal to buyers.
