- The company next to ours went completely Linux...

...for about 16 months. In the end they replaced their CIO, and a few others involved in the descision. They migrated back to Windows as they found that they had nothing but problems, compalints, and lost revenue with the Linux infrastructure.
They did keep 6 of the systems for use in the manufacturing facility as the custom software worked very well for the machines they were attached to, but beyond that, they couldn't be happier going back to MS.
