Wow, he hit the nail on the head. No religion, just facts.: Start converting those Windows servers to Linux. Make sure you do not use any of the free MS stuff that ties you to Windows and/or MS Office. Do not be in any hurry to switch to Linux on the Desktop. Start with OpenOffice in place of MS Office. You will know when the time is right to switch to Linux on the desktop. Be calm, be patient, do pilot tests, negociate discounts, but be persistent.
