Why would that happen?
Many beleive this is not such a good idea. It basicly works out to be Google "buying the competition".

Nobody threw chairs at Microsoft before, why would they start now? Especially seeing that if Microsoft REALLY was interested, they could have bought YouTube themselves, seeing as they have 5 or 6 times the cash that Google has.
