- Mighetto -- Keep it Comming!

It is good that we have others on this board who have their priorities right.
Frank, by now you know that no matter how much evidence you provide, no matter how many important points you make -- the HP loyalist will not accept them. But that is because they are loyal to HP, not the industry, not to consumers. You might even get your spelling corrected or be called a name.
It is this type of abuse of the truth that causes the public to wonder if HP is still playing spy games, with agents stationed at each blog, ready to pounce on every post with "I can't believe you are saying this..." bla bla bla bla bla. Don't let it discourage you.
They are not even thinking about the "tiny children" that would lose their jobs if the market doesn't buy HP products.
Being blindly loyal to people like Dunn and Fiorina is bad for HP, bad for IT and horrible for consumers. And to tell you the truth, if American consumers purchase HP products as charity for the tiny tots, and not to meet their IT requirements, it sets HP up for the inevitable baloon burst.
The fact is -- the tougher American consumers are on our flagship IT company -- the better it will make itself. Remember the former IT giant called IBM? I remember how the market fawned over the idiotic stuges as they responded to Apple's innovation with more mainframes and mini-computers, no serious PC software and a sales strategy that locked customers into their world. Had the business market told IBM to "go back to the drawing board until you get it right..." everybody would have been better off, and the most powerful computer company in the world would still be a leader.
Both IT professionals and consumers need to prioritize their loyalties: 1)their company 2)IT industry as whole 3)favorite vendor
The HP fan boys would have it this way: 1)HP 2)HP 3)HP.
I won't identify the fan boy, but I think it is obvious. - Posted by: author20@... Posted on: 10/09/06 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
