Is Carly still relevant ??
It is sometimes said that the Chinese character for "trouble" shows two women under one roof. Such a character is possible, but there actually is no such Chinese character. Another Urban Legend..

I am certainly not a misogynist, but I don't think Carly was any rocket scientist. She did, however, have an MBA and if I'm not mistaken, yet another Master's in Management.

Patty Dunn had a B.A. in Journalism and a HUGE amount of luck to get where she did. I don't care to speculate about anything else, as I don't know the woman, but she sure did rise up to a pretty high rank from being a temp in the typing pool.

I know a lot of qualified, talented and brilliant female lawyers, MBAs etc., and they (along with many of we male counterparts) can only DREAM of achieving such power, status and wealth.

Anyway, Carly walked away with more money than any of us can dream of, basically for doing as poor job of managing the merged HP and Compaq, despite the obvious product line synergies they enjoy. How many among us can profit from such failure.

Likewise, Patty will not likely be sharing a cell with any crack ho's, and likely none of HP's upper echelon executives will be doing perp walks a la the Enron boys (who REALLY deserved it..)

I think I'll skip buying any books by Fiorina. There are much bigger failures from whom to learn ...
