How about doors that open when they sense your presense? We've all grown up with those...so much that we take them for granted.
Then there's flash memory cards; capable of vast amounts of data or video...just like the "tapes" that Spock and McCoy used on their display terminals.
I'm just looking forward to the day when I can beam myself from home to work and avoid the traffic!
