IMO, I think "Spiced Ham" sounded better than "SHAM"
because with the letter "S" in "SHAM," it could mean "sliced ham" or "spicy ham," so as for "sliced ham," they could call it either "ham" or for trademark, "SliHam." Yet sometimes, when they talk about sliced ham, they would just call it "SHAM" as you mentioned and so that didn't sound unique to me.
