Bill Gates and Back Dating Options.

CEO Steve Jobs apologized, but the back dating was first done at Microsoft and Andersen's crime was listening to Delloite and Toosh, Microsoft's accountants who, as I remember things, invented the fraud (likely with help from Legals like Preston Gates and Ellis) and to make it appear less criminal spread the practice through out the IT industry.

Lets start to see that Bill Gate's replacement as head of technology at Microsoft by Ray Ozzi may be similar to Andersons resignation. Microsoft's disclosure of back dating in its shareholders reports probably was not enough to save him. The Back dating probably cost Bill Gates his job. And if proper society is to be satisfied it will cost him his foundation as well.
