actually the amount of sunlight that hits the earth
(not including the 30% of so that is reflected back)
is 3,900,000 EJ and compared to the total world (year 2000) energy usage 390 EJ.
ie. The amount of solar energy hitting the earth is 10,000 times the actual world energy usage.
