I didn't know identity theft was illegal! Right
Cingular, Verizon -- I'm Patricia Dunn and I want you to email me my phone records to: "private-eye@sos.com" ..thank you.

Pretty easy wasn't it? That's almost how the Dunn team (not exactly the A-Team) got the data. Now, wouldn't it be a good idea to start talking about reforms at the telcos?

This is what the Dunn team is asking us to believe.

Just take a scan at HP's security products, read their privacy policies on their Web and in their literature. Read an HP NDA and you'll get an idea of how well versed this company is in establishing and maintaining privacy and security.

The perpetrators and appologists and uneasy supervisors must try to bargain by pleading guilty. Any jury who would allow Dunn to say that:

1. She didn't know posing as another person to gain access to confidential information was illegal.

2. She didn't know that private, confidential phone records were NOT available from public sources...

Is a jury that is on crack.
