Huzzah To That, But Bill Neukom worse
Bill Neukom served as Baskins did at Microsoft and my understanding is that the head legal of a corporation is the only one who can call a witness under oath to defend the actons of a corporation.

He put at least two witnesses under oath in the last Microsoft antitrust case that were obvious liers, and it is reasonable to assume that Neukom knew they would lie and even may have coached them to do so. (Gates and Allchin)

Up until this year knowingly putting witnesses on the stand that were expected to lie under oath got you disbarred. Neukom became the Washington Bar Association president. A committe was formed. They determined a change in the ethics of the bar wasn't desirable. But the State Supreme court was influenced otherwise. Now a laywer that complains about this gets disbarred.

I think Ann Baskens was expected by Hurd to lie about corporate board meeting minutes, the acuracy of them, there completeness, something like that. Baskens was also Secretary of the Board.

I do not know about California, but in Washington State you can not incorporate without a Board Secretary and the Secretary and President can not be the same person. The Secretary is responsible for keeping minutes and is required to have them available for State athorities at any time. There are no one man corporations owing to this.

Ms Dunn, in not invoking the 5th today, can not later do so, I am told. She is about to squeal like Neucom's Abramoff. Abramoff recommended the lobbiests that Microsoft hired to influence peddle its way out of Neukom's stunning defeat at the hands of Reno's DOJ. Later, after a client of Preston Gates and Ellis, the company Neukom now chairs, was killed mob style, Abramoff claims, in effect, that he was set up as the patsy.

Thing is, Neukom now is President of the American Bar Association, changing the ethical standard of that organization. The fast pace of change in ethical values of the US is a ligitimate concern for europeans, and all nations.

Hurds invocation of the 5th was a surprise since he offered to testify willingly. I think that means he is on his way out now. What do you think?
