Not the job of the young journalist
You are applying a generational standard as well as a standard that has never been an indicator of quality within the IT industry. Content and timeliness is the standard that defines quality for the young journalist.

Lets recognize that Paty Dunn was trained as an investigative journalist at UC Berkeley, that there are ethical standards defining journalism and that Paty likely used her investigative skills to dig up dirt, dirt she later used to bargan for promotions. Lets hope some of that comes up today in front of congress.

Lets also propose that no board member of a US publically traded corporation be allowed to serve as a board member of a non US business (private or public). Think how identity theft weakens the nation. How the security of the nation is harmed. I honestly believe every current and former HP employee's SSN is in the hands of those lawyers hire for the kind of work patty wished done. Patty of course sits on an investment board based in Europe. She has not resigned from it, and should IMO.

It is appropriate to contact the author offline about grammer and spelling. Mary Joe encourages that and she can be the voice of those to timid to speak publically.
