The Decline of the American Lawyer
Zork, it has always been considered poor form to criticize spelling and grammer on the web. You behave like a lawyer when you do so. Lawyers provide little value to a business because they equate quality with little more than spelling and grammer. I remind all that carnege and rosevelt argued against spelling and grammer and for simplified texting of the kind now well represented on the WWW.

The advantage of this approach is full discussion of the type necessary for a true democracy. The decline of the american lawyer is at hand because so many know that the comment, "we have reviewed the document for form" means nothing except that the lawyer has ripped the businessman that hired him/her off. Its a basket case:>)

The decline of the american lawyer's place in corporate organizations is well demonstrated by the HP meltdown. But it is also easy to see in private business. The american lawyer who is a member of the ABA is to willing to adopt the ethical standards of his/her criminal clients, to willing to be on the line and perhaps fall over it and then determined to change american ethics overall, justifying that by thinking if they did it it could not be bad and hence not unethical.

Lets think about strengthening Sarb Ox. Lets say that no lawyer is allowed to sit on a board of directors. This is resonable because no business man is allowed to own a law firm. (Unless of course you view Microsoft as a law firm)

Software design by legals. Argh. Rise American Programmers.
