I have the Zen Touch 40GB
I updated the firmware to the "Plays for sure" version, and it still works the same except that now I don't need the Mediasource software to transfer files back and forth from any computer with XP, simply using drag and drop. I can also now use WMP10 to put fresh tracks on it (don't know if I could do that before the firmware upgrade or not).

I also have the previous years model The Zen Jukebox 40GB, while not as modern it works just as well, but I can only ADD tracks using XP with WMP 10, and need Mediasource to get them off of the player to the computer.

It seems that Creative does MP3 players quite nicely (I'd say the closest thing to 2nd behind Apple). I've been bidding on ebay to get another Zen Touch, they've been going anywhere from $130 used to about $225 new. The battery life on the Touch is an incredible 24hrs! No other player comes close.
