And in this case, switching would be a step down.

What, specifically (and give me details) is it about Zune that will be a step down from the iPod? The certainty with which you speak tells me that you've used the final product and found it lacking. I'm sure we can all learn a great deal from an insider like you!

As far as the living room goes, there's not much to catch up with there. You have a product from MS that doesn't do much, that isn't used much.

The funny thing about this statement is that there are probably more Media Center TVs out there than Macs. wink Regardless, WMC and MythTV (the Linux equivalent that I happen to use) are really, really great products and if you say they don't do much, you obviously haven't ever used anything like it. Quite frankly, if you said that media center computers were only in 4% of homes, it would only convince me that I'm better than 96% of the people out there. Isn't that how the logic goes? I'm afraid I'm not very good at self-justification, I don't own a Mac. sad
