I actually applaud the color choice. I think it's high time that
more earthy colors begin to appear in the computer/gaget
space. It's like a return to the 70's. It's a gutsy-but-smart move
on MS's part. It doesn't cost them too much to inject brown
plastic into a mould, yet even if they don't sell well, the brown
zunes will at least buy them a few talking points.

It's certainly not an iPod, but it's going to be fascinating to see
how well it does. Will Microsoft branding, design and vertical
integration succeed where Plays for Sure failed?

Competition is good. May the best products and services win.
