Fair enough, but let's take a closer look at some talking points:
* We are passionate about customers

Yes. They will passionately screw us out of every possible penny they can get their hands on. Just ask anyone who owns one of their inkjet printers. (it either breaks down too quickly or the cost of ink alone is atrocious; the complaints I hear are way too frequent for the quality of the ink.)

* We have trust and respect for individuals

That's why tech support and patch requests remain unaddressed for months, if not over a year... (My favorite issie is an iPaq 2755 fix for the "error -100" bug with the fingerprinting mechanism... the "fix" causes new problems too.) See above gripe for more too.

* We perform at a high level of achievement and contribution

See the previous response, I don't believe this bit for a moment. Apart from churning out high quantities of semi-sloppy products. (The 2755 is a terrific device, just so long you keep all the security features disabled... a pity, most people bought it FOR the security featgures...)

* We act with speed and agility

Um, no.

* We deliver meaningful innovation

So with the failure of the 2755, they came out with the 2955: Same as the 2755, except it is using Windows Mobile 5 (yuck) and has half the RAM. Price remains unchanged too... (and the people who bought the WM5 upgrade for their 2755s usually removed it!!)

* We achieve our results through teamwork and We conduct our business with uncompromising integrity.

Yawn. WHO in the industry doesn't say that? The catchphrase lost its meaning a long time ago. All workers are seeing pink slips (offshoring "costs less") and customers are seeing are cheaper products (and I don't mean monetary cost, as offshoring has been occurring for some time now - it's a paltry excuse at best).

The costs in the long terms are going to be very bad. But at 50 cents an hour for 16 hour shifts, one gets what one pays for...
