Probably because
she is subject to criminal charges if she is proven to be complicit in the pretexting activities. The absolute clarity of her inappropriateness as a board member aside, she is facing charges by the State of California and fines and or criminal charges from the FCC and therefore will lie through her teeth with her lawyers to protect herself.

As the board member who did the leaking said, all they had to do was ask and he would have fessed up. No, this thing wreaks of abuse of power.

To those on this blog claiming nothing illegal was done, you are flat wrong. Dunn and her investigators actions are patently illegal and are subject to criminal charges if only based on circmstantial evidence. Also, the liability to lawsuits from those spied upon is huge as well.
