And it's views like yours that are
why corporations are allowed to get away with the atrocity of disruption they do. Many of these people got there jobs with the expectation of working till retirement. I know when I had (before I went independant and started my own business) my job I got it with the intention of retiring. But I saw the hack and slash mentality of the McGraw-Hill corporation, all in the name of profit. If they didn't make enough (when is enough enough?) profit they cut jobs or benefits, instead of cutting the CEO, CFO and other high ranking officers pay and bennies, they hack the working class... you know the ones that cannot afford to lose their income. And you have the audacity to tell them to get over it and get a job?

They had one! Many of the problems these companies have all stem from failing to follow the 7P's and extremely poor management! So instead of canning the lower class worker, penalize the upper echelons. After all they are the ones that are supposed to be steering the company to it's lofty goals, right?
