Building a Fab in India
Of course they could move the fabrication to India.
The car companies do it all the time .
The short term cost begets long term savings and that is all that matters.
These big companies get given big, no, massive Tax breaks to build in another place .
They might have to forgo paying taxes for several years.
they might get given tax money to actually help build the plant or to train the new workforce.
It is because of these breaks that they can blackmail the home towns in the States and other Western countries to offer incentives to stay
this stuff is and will continue to happen until the end of the large Corperation.

When that will happen is anyones guess.
