I guess the chip manufactures didn't sell as many chips as planned due to the low demand of Linux.

I'm sure Red Hat and the others fooled Intel and AMD into beleiving demand for Linux would raise PC sales in addition to the mormal numbers of units sold with Windows.

You see, you have to make something up while dissing on that person's OS of choice.
