Criminal Logic
Justification is the hallmark of the treacherous, and a dangerous precedent for this country to be listening to.

When facts don't go the way the industry wants them, they make them up, distort and/or just plain ignore them. That's what the industry and it's shills are doing with the H1-B Visa/Outsourcing controversy, and the reason that they need to SELL it is because it's a pack of lies.

There is no shortage of qualified American programmers, engineers or white collar professionals.

What there is a shortage of, is cheap programmers, engineers or white collar professionals... in THIS country.

When the dot-com burst occured, all these jobs that they were filling with indentured H1-B servants became known, because they weren't hiring Americans... the industry's skeletons became known. It's not a lack of skills, it's a lack of cheaply available skills.

The industry and it's shills are lying, and in this time of the war against terrorism, isn't it fair to compare the industry and it's shills tactics to an attempt to undermine the technological/economical well being of the United States that borders on Treason?

Once upon a time it was proper to imprison witnesses who were guilty of perjury, and right now the entire industry and their shills should be jailed for lying to the President, Congress but most importantly to the American People.

Any politician that would cower to the "non-voting" corporate interests in this economy should share the same penalty of treason.
