Offshoring

I think offshoring is fine. As long as, like with the manufacturing sector in China, competitive advantage isn't won by offsetting costs by abusing human rights. We should limit the labor trade to countries that have similar labor laws.
In addition, I think it's fair that government contracts should stay within the United States. We aren't getting any kind of economic stimilous when the government spends it's money on foreign labor, and that is part of what government spending is supposed to do.
I also think it is wrong to increase H1-B1 visas in a sector that is experience higher than normal unemployment. I also think it is important to evaluate each H1-B1 visa that is being used and make sure that it is being used for a skill set that is hard to find her, not just to say money with wages.
I really am tired of people preaching about not banning offshoring. Who said anything about bannning it? I just think we should manage it, like we do anything else.
