- what a really really bad idea...
- The government is clearly moving too fast with this initiative. If someone clones the RFID signal and stores it, they have an unlimited amount of time to try to crack it via brute force methods. Now someone may be able to determine where a diplomat lives (our first testers as denoted in the article), which sounds mighty dangerous to me. What happened? They were planning to reconsider this for 2009! What ever happened to basic risk analysis? What is the risk of a diplomat's complete personal information being stolen? I would think the risk is very high.
