Not completely....
Granted, it may be wrong to flat out steal music for which an artist expects to be paid. His comment though of not knowing what you are buying is quite valid.

I hate buying albums and seldom do unless I listen to the whole thing from some other source first (and no, I don't use music download sites). The sad fact is that most albums are 80% crap but there is no way to know that until you have spent your money. Then of course there is no way in hell you will be able to return it.

Of course you could run around and find somebody who already spent their money on it so you can listen to it. Personally, I don't have that much time on my hands.

Basically, the music industry is a lot like all the software companies that don't let you read the EULA until you buy the software and install it, thus rendering it non-refundable. That seems quite unethical to me. If the music industry wants to scream about illegalities and unethical behavior, perhaps they should look in a mirror.
