Don't hold your breath...
Our lawmakers have a long and glorious tradition of taking ideas that make sense and turning them into laws that make you scratch your head wondering what they could have possibly been thinking. They must share big laughs at the country club at how they've managed to make a mockery of this country time and time again. I can just picture one of our wonderful Senators talking up the plight of the poor while they're having their filet mignon and lobster at Ruth's Cris, sipping on a 40 year old single malt scotch in celebration of their new pay raise. Yeah, these folks really care about the people they represent...
