WOW - Hatch is the Man
Microsoft's Neukom must be seathing. Neukom's ethics that lieing under oath is OK if it helps win is not helpful in Administrative Law courts.

We should again review. The CFSD is now open. Hatch is a known Microsoft adversary. A lot of that has to do with the jihad waged against WordPerfect Office and Novell. Neukom was the lead legal advisor to Microsoft officers responsible for so many bad choices at the company those including the Gates deposition (a classic BTW), the Allchin doctored video tapes, Ballmer's I can put a ham sandwitch into Windows comment after the first US Antitrust case, the use of Abramoff and Reed and Preston Gates and Ellis for creating the culture of corruption in the Bush administration that got Microsoft off from remedies favored by Reno's DOJ and Jackson, Jackson's labeling of Microsoft as a criminal organization, the invocaton of the Tunny Act (my what a fine set of documents those are and totally unexpected by crafty Neukom - the piece of work) the whole stock option backdating business that likely is the real reason Gates resigned, the permatemp business, and of course the EU sanctions and of course I am missing many more - I am certain. There can be no worse legal mind in the world and yet Neukom is now president of the American Bar Association.

His win-at-any-cost Microsoft way is evident in Washington State by the influence peddling of WA Superior Court justices who - inspite of recommendations from a pannel of the Washington State Bar Association - are allowing WBA members to represent clients and put them and witnesses on the stand knowing that they will lie under oath. This ethic is not unlike radical Muslem fundamentalists who view lieing as appropriate if it advances their cause. The ethic will likely become that of the ABAs now that Neukom is President.

Well Huzzah Hatch. Make the traditional US court system - which can only be viewed as weak - not relavant to software development in the future by using the relatively new Administrative Law Courts. Hatch's mind be sharp enough to outwit even the brightest legals in the room.
