Senators Need to Respect and Protect the little guy
This bill appears to be a sweet deal for the large corporations. I myself have filed a patent, and one of the largest corporations in my particualr field of business immediately realized that my idea was very innovative, and they decided to start promoting it in their new product. That's right senators, they TOOK what was not theirs! So why would you allow someone to steal an idea, and then NOT allow the original inventor to be compensated monitarily for it? After all, DO CORPORATIONS NOT HAVE THE ABILITY TO COME TO THE INVENTOR FIRST, AND ASK FOR THE PERMISSION TO USE THE INVENTION? SURE THEY DO, AND THIS WOULD BE THE APPROPRIATE ACTION TO TAKE WOULDN'T IT? INSTEAD, THE BIG BOYS TRY TO INTIMIDATE THE SMALL GUYS, AND IF THE LARGE CORPORATIONS DON'T PLAY BY THE RULES, THEN THEY DESERVE TO BE SUED SEVERLY, AND THEY SHOULD PAY UP! THIS LEGISLATION WILL ONLY LEAD TO MORE "ENRON" MENTALITY.
