A failing model........
And $30 Million to advertise it down the drain!

"Napster's still trying to find a working business model, which is bad from an operating standpoint."

Napter model was pushing subscription (Rented Music), while telling us purchasing music was a waste of money, even though they also allow their own subscribers to purchase music. Any surprise why they are not doing well? Instead of promoting their service as being able to do both (Purchase and Rent), they went all out promoting subscription music, telling their own users not to purchase music from Napster (duh). "Own Nothing Have everything". "..Never ever, ever buy music again"

Don't be stagnated, Innovate. The market is still in its infancy, why sell your business now? Try something new and innovative like Yahoo's $1.99 personalized DRM-Free song. EMusic was just rated #2 selling only Independent music. How can that be? They are easy to use, works well with iTunes+iPod, and the best part they're DRM free.
