Are violent video games really a problem?

The problem is the absence of parental presence: and usually lack of solid upbringing that is based on the example of parents.

When adults are not around to provice sample roles of behavior, the STUPID games become "reality". That is why SO MANY PEOPLE cannot separate actual from imaginary reality. That is why also so many kids have NO PROBLEM even killing their peers or whoever is around "when the time comes".

Usually young people NEVER DEVELOP APPRECIATION AND RESPECT for other living beings when they do not grow up with parents who could be around to HELP THEM develop these human properties.

Too bad, that the three-four cars or two / three houses cannot help in the correct upbringing of people.

When one also includes the effects of the various "merged" families ....

Does anyone think that these ultra-violent v games that kids grow up with have NO NEGATIVE EFFECT in their psychy that is under formation?

How about DUMPING TOXIC WASTE TO THE SOIL WHERE YOUNG TREES GROW. Wouldn't they get any negative effect?

Again the problem is NOT ONLY that ALL THIS TRASH is dumped at kids but that there are NO MATURE ADULTS AROUND to HELP THEM FILTER THIS TRASH AWAY.
