You got proof that there isn't?
I am willing to say that violent video games can play a part of it but are not soley responsible for it. What about the parents who buy the damn stuff without checking it out first. How about the ones that don't pay attention to what their kids are doing? While some of the violence can be blamed on the video games that are out there how much of it is caused because of parental neglect? Because they were either too busy or just didn't bother? More of the problem is due to THAT than anything else.
