I could understand the whole conviction for possesing child porn. But this statement bugs me to no end.

WTF? So just because he was an American he enjoyed no privacy? Either my eyes were deceiving me or that is exactly what that statement meant. Please please please tell me I am wrong on that one.
And how in the hell can they sy that if you never crossed the border to begin with that it doesn't mean you can have re-entry into the US of A if you are a US citizen? If you never made it past the border people/guards or whatever then how does that mean they can do that type of a search?
