Re. converting enemies
"If you turn an enemy into a friend have you not defeated an enemy? If only our nation would apply this basic notion of the art of war.

But where we may not be able to influence the Bush Administration, influence of Microsoft management is possible. Consider the notion that every strength is also a weekness."

Frank, some people don't want to be friends. Period. Moslem extremist groups have as their stated goal to wipe out the "infidels". They have publicly stated this. They have stated that Israel does not have a right to exist. I don't know why you and others can't get it through your heads - you can't negotiate with terrorists. You can't win them over. They don't *want* friendship. They don't want to work things out. They want to wipe us out. Coming from a much more peaceful and prosperous culture, this is hard for us to believe and accept. But they have not only shown their intentions historically and in the present...but they have openly stated them. They are not even trying to hide them. One day the left will wake up and realize what a fine job Bush has done by taking on these people. It needs to be done.
