Just because intel announces a new product and ships a couple to OEMs and testers doesn't mean this truly available. Intel has a habit of announcing a product and shipping just enough to create buzz but not enough to fill a 10th of the demand.

Also the problem with intel products is much more than performance. The Power consumption is way too high on all but their mobile processors.
