YOU can, but Google cannot
Yes, *you* can buy a magazine, make and spread copies of articles. But that's different than a for-profit corporation doing it. Google makes money (or at least, attempts to) by displaying news stories that are written and copyrighted by others. That seems wrong to me. Especially if they stripped off copyrights and credits as the lawsuit claims.
