- Let's Look At This ....
-
Let's get this straight, the government continues
to fail in keeping basic identity information it
holds on citizens safe from thieves. It also
refuses to remove people who do not want to be
tracked from their databases. Now it wants to
FORCE equipment manufacturers to tap our Internet
connections? Fine, it is just what we need. A
corrupt and incompetent government taking more
and more of what does not belong to them - our
computing resources!!! The only thing government
does efficiently is screw people over. It is
very good at that.
I guess it is not enough that Americans pay more
than half their incomes in local, state, and
federal taxes. The government now wants to use
OUR equipment to spy on us!!! I guess when the
"upgrade" time comes, I will be using open source
(after reviewing the source code) software as
well as checking out the hardware carefully. I,
and I hope others will be more earnest in
building other networks that are privately owned
that will replace the Internet. There has been
success in doing this in many places. Run a
search on FreeWan Muninet, and darknet. The time
has come to FORCE governments to respect OUR
rights as citizens.
I would like to say to every government official,
"Hey Gilligen, have you ever heard of this thing
called the Constitution? You know, its that
thing that you swore to support and defend
against all enemies, both foreign and DOMESTIC."
I wonder if it would do any good if members of
our military decided to defend the United States
against DOMESTIC enemies of the Constitution.
The domestic enemies of the Constitution includes
as many democrats as republicans. The only
difference between these two parties is the lies
they tell and the people they lie to. Maybe it
is time for people to start supporting and voting
for candidates of the Libertarian and
Constitution parties. The current main two
parties no longer represent 'We the People'! - Posted by: cyberscan Posted on: 07/10/06 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
