- Ya, sure. Ever heard of the slippery slope??

I think its time people start asking themselves what Osama and his boys ever hoped to accomplish by running two planes into the world trade center? I mean seriously, do you think he thought it was a great way to have Afghanistan invaded so he would lose his access to government protected training grounds and his base of operations? Perhaps he secretly hates Saddam Hussein and was hoping that bringing down the world trade centers would eventually result in Hussein?s ouster. Maybe he just likes being chased around various barren mountainous regions running for his life.
Or maybe it was a plan to breed fear and mistrust in the western world; a way to provoke western governments, the U.S. in particular, into implementing new draconian security measures that would eventually lead to a loss of faith between the people and their governments. Was it foreseeable by the madmen who made the 911 attacks that it would result in losses in freedom in the western world? Perhaps, I have to imagine they were trying to accomplish something, and so far it?s the only thing they have seemed to accomplish that?s doing them more good then us. - Posted by: Cayble Posted on: 07/09/06 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
