Good or bad, it needs to stop.
Its getting to the point where we are feeling less secure due to over-security. Phone calls being tapped, internet usage being tapped, e-mails being tapped. Anything and everything we do is soon to be watched by Big Brother. Next thing you know is we will be forced to have electronic tracking and monitoring implants put inside us so they can flip a switch somewhere and know when we piss.
I for one would prefer a bomb now and then in exchange for freedom and privacy. Maybe stricter immigration laws would be a better focus of their efforts than trying to find out the latest recipe gossip from Grandma on the phone.
Lets face it...every terrorist in this country we let come across our borders. So...there is the problem. It took darn near an act of God to file fiance visa paperwork and change of status papers for my wife, but these terrorist countries and terrorist supporting countries send people over here in mass numbers with no hinderance. Wow...stop a graduate degreed woman from a USA friendly country marriage to an American man, but let Mohammed, Abdul, and 30 of his fellow terrorists all come over here for pilot training, advanced electronic and explosive training, and don't try to even investigate them.
