Green as not having a clue?
Toyota as number one manufacturer of cars causing the biggest use of fuels. Their hybrid cars are fraction of population of cars and they are expensive (so no promotion).

Have they used any clean process in car production? BMW does and its plants have facilities to recycle and put even garbage back into final product circulation (not to mention water).

BP?

Green? Perhaps consumers are green and do not have clue. That is most likelyt as reading consumer reports I see a lot of incompetence, bias and marketing slogans involved. And yes majority can be wrong - very wrong. Crowd is usually dumb.
