Now that's rich
When the oil companies have just posted record profits while charging record prices, they have no right to call anything morally inappropriate. But, on top of that, there is the fact that we have food rotting in silos here in the US (for example) while there are actually people starving to death in this country. The food will not feed anyone without charity being involved to purchase it and get it to them - it's more morally responsible to make fuel out of it than just let it rot. (It would also make a lot more sense to make butanol than ethanol, but that's another conversation.)
