Marketing Thugs
Prior to the layoffs Microsoft managers portrayed the sales staff unfavorable to other employees. The notion was that they had caused bad decisions at the company.

When you analyse the company as Judge Jackson did during the last antitrust case, you can see how the marketers could really be the thugs of a criminal organization, visiting customers and extracting wealth for "protection".

As Martha might say. Its a good thing.
