Monkey dance for them, Steve
Apparently that works at meetings. Anything but face up to the facts and fix your busted company.

Bad few weeks for MS. Their case through SCO got outted, the EU about to drop a building on them, HP announcing Linux on the desktop...in Asia initially, but that's only for the moment. SQL Server delayed, who knows when Longbone is ever going to get here. A new virus announced almost every day. CIO magazine publishing a very pro OSS piece. And StarOffice announcing a new upgrade that will make it more compatible with Office. Bad week.

And all the poor sods sinking thousands into .NET training that isn't going much of anywhere. The dawning realization that being MS-centric isn't necessarily job security anymore. The MS party line losing its effect on the higher ups. Little over a year ago one of our techs asked for advice about whether to invest in .NET training, I told him to get Red Hat certified. He did. Smart kid.
