Microsoft strike out before. EU need not worry about MS appealing.
Microsoft lost the US antitrust case after the Court of Appeals unanimously ruled that Microsoft broke antitrust law and the US Supreme Court refused to hear Microsoft's appeal 2 years ago.

And then Microsoft went paying the Bush DOJ under the table to let it off the hook without any serious remedies.

Let Microsoft appeal. If the EU competition bureau won't take bribes from Microsoft, Microsoft is finished. The chance of Microsoft winning in the EU appeals court is not going to look good. The monopoly as said earlier had lost all appeals in the US 2 years go.

Do you think the monopoly can pull it through this time? The odd is against Microsoft in the appeals. Once the EU appeal court refuses to hear any more Microsoft appeal, it is time for heavy fine and full compliance or else...
