SCO denies this claim and has displayed selected pages of evidence that purport to show that commercial software developers, whether accidentally or intentionally, lifted protected code.

Don't forget to mention that this didn't go well. That code was same in both SCO's unix and Linux, but it was completely legal for Linux and SCO to use. Because it wasn't "protected" SCO code... I believe it was BSD code.

After nearly a year in court, the case is still just allegations. They have yet to show any proof to the proper authorities to back up their allegations.
